How do we encourage people to go to the movies in a world of Netflix and HBO? By infusing a cinematic feel into article ads, I created ad suggestions that aimed to inspire interaction and evoke nostalgia for the unparalleled cinema experience.

With the main movie trailer playing above we placed an automatic carousel below for creating interest among the coming premieres.
In the expanding ad format below, the idea was to keep the user’s attention within the ad, i.e. increase time spent, by keeping the user's interest with more trailers to display.
